Follow the course of the Canal de Vire which winds its way to Saint-Lô through a countryside of postcard-like landscapes. Despite the destruction suffered by the city in 1944, nicknamed "Capital of Ruins", Saint-Lô has risen from the ashes to become the dynamic and lively city we know today.
