However, may decide to interrupt the service for technical maintenance, in which case it will endeavour to inform users of the dates and times of such maintenance operations in advance. The main purpose of the website is to be a portal for the tourist and residential attractiveness of La Manche.

4. Contractual limitations of technical data

The website uses JavaScript technology and cannot be held responsible for material damage related to the use of the website. Furthermore, the user of the website agrees to access the website using recent virus-free equipment and with an up-to-date latest generation browser.

The aim is to provide a service that ensures the best accessibility rate. The host ensures the continuity of its service 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, it reserves the right to interrupt the hosting service for the shortest possible periods of time, in particular for maintenance purposes, to improve its infrastructure, if its infrastructure fails or if the Services generate traffic deemed to be abnormal.

Neither Attitude Manche nor the host may be held responsible for any malfunction of the Internet, telephone lines or IT and telephone equipment linked in particular to network congestion preventing access to the server.

5. Intellectual property and infringement

Attitude Manche owns the intellectual property rights as well as the rights to use all the elements accessible on the website, including texts, images, graphics, logos, videos, icons and sounds. Specifically regarding photo credits, these are always included on each image displayed on this website. The photos partly come from the Attitude Manche photo library and are partly provided directly by the tourism service providers promoted on this website.

6. Limitations of liability

Attitude Manche acts as publisher of the website and is responsible for the quality and veracity of the Content it publishes.

Attitude Manche cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage caused to the user's equipment when accessing the website, and resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications set out in Point 4, or from the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.

Neither can Attitude Manche be held liable for indirect damage (such as for example a loss of business or a loss of opportunity) resulting from the use of the website. 7.2 Policy on the processing operations carried out in connection with the use of this website

This Policy explains the processing operations we carry out.

a. How do we collect your Personal Data and which Personal Data do we collect?

Your Personal Data are collected via forms, namely:

  • The newsletter subscription form
  • The form for putting you in touch with tourism service providers
  • The booking process for tourism services

We are required to use different types of Personal Data, which you yourself are required to provide: last name, first name, email address, telephone number and postal address.

Attitude Manche undertakes to take all necessary precautions to keep the Information secure and in particular to ensure that it is not disclosed to unauthorised persons. However, if an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of the Customer's Information is brought to the attention of Attitude Manche, it must notify the Customer as soon as possible and inform them of the corrective measures taken.

Furthermore, Attitude Manche does not collect any "sensitive data", i.e. any information that reveals the alleged racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.

Finally, Attitude Manche collects information that improves the user experience and offers contextualised advice: Google Analytics and Matomo allow us to improve your user experience on our website by tracking your browsing.

Under current law, in case of lawful injunction or requisition on their part.

e. Where are my Personal Data stored?

Our processors store and host your Personal Data within the European Union.


a. What are my rights?

You have several rights regarding your Information in our possession:

Right of access: you may ask for access to any Personal Data we have about you.
Right to rectification: you may ask us to correct your Personal Data.
Right to object: you may ask us to stop using your Personal Data when we do so because of a legitimate interest.
Right to erasure: you may ask us to delete your Personal Data or to stop using them.
Right to restriction of processing: you may ask us to block the use of your Personal Data, i.e. to keep them temporarily but to stop using them. You may export your Personal Data in a reusable format or where possible ask us to pass them on to another company that may reuse them.

We will do our best to respond within one month. Sometimes we cannot accept a request because the law does not apply: we will explain this to you.

Any dispute in connection with the use of the website is subject to French law. Except in cases where the law does not allow it, exclusive jurisdiction is given to the competent courts of Caen.
