Right in the centre of Cherbourg, Le Club Dinette is a very cool eco-responsible restaurant that uses organic, locally sourced products. Marie and FX run the place according to the ethos of “better food, more fun”.

Brunch is served on Sundays from 12 noon, with a great atmosphere guaranteed. Don’t miss the charity thrift store in the restroom!

This is one of the 10 best beach bars in France, according to The Guardian!

You’ll find the bar-restaurant in a really special setting: an old bunker right on the beach in the Bay of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, with a view of Tatihou Island. It may be a long way out, but it’s certainly worth the trip!

Every first Sunday of the month, from April to September, you can treat yourself to brunch at Le Goéland while you enjoy live music or a DJ set.

La Rose du rocher

In the middle of the Christian Dior garden in Granville, you’ll find the tearoom La Rose du Rocher. Sitting on the terrace facing the sea, this is the perfect place for brunch with friends.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, you can stop at the tearoom whatever the time of day. On Sundays, tuck into charcuterie, fine cheeses, oysters, salmon or pastries, washed down with a nice drink.

Just 3 km from the famous Utah Beach, head to the hotel Domaine Utah Beach for a delicious bite to eat. Chez Arsène is a restaurant that uses products directly harvested on its organic farm, and is a cosy place for a Sunday brunch. Once you’ve eaten your fill, you can head off to explore the nearby D-Day sites.

As you step through the door, Oscar Wilde sets the tone: “I can resist everything except temptation”. With its blue and grey decor and smart tiling, stylish white crockery and huge choice of teas, the place is chic and cosy.

Sandrine is ready to serve you brunch on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays, with her tasty quiches and gourmet salads, followed by yoghurts, cakes and other delicious treats.

Are you looking for a vegetarian brunch? At La Dînette, the chef, who has years of experience abroad, rustles up delicious veggie dishes from France and other countries.

On Saturdays and Sundays, you can sample La Dînette’s brunch or veggie brunch, accompanied by a Kusmi tea. In the afternoon, come and try a delicious cake in the cosy tearoom or on the terrace in fine weather.

This brand new, freshly renovated eatery opened its doors in spring 2023, offering great food at lunchtime, a coffee shop in the afternoon and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. On the menu: pancakes, granola bowls, matcha latte, avocado toast, banana bread, smoothies, and much more. Avant L’Heure has an Australian vibe, with a relaxed seaside feel and delicious coffees to enjoy on the premises or to take away.

In 2022, a new bistro opened in one of the old houses in Agon-Coutainville: Les enfants de Choeur. The friendly owner, Grégoire, has brought new life to the village, offering a great place for a get together, with a cosy atmosphere. You can get brunch on a Sunday, or enjoy live music and tapas at the weekend with the bar’s programme of lively events.
For brunch, Amevie rustles up delicious dishes made exclusively from local organic produce, with a menu that changes every month.

Every weekend, Clément and Antoine prepare a delicious eat-all-you-can brunch for you to enjoy. You’ll feel at home in their bourgeois house just a short walk from the centre of Coutances. Pâtisseries, fruit salads, quiches and much more: the menu changes according to the season and their inspiration.
