Exploring aquaculture in Chausey: paddle away!
Alban, an oyster farmer, and Ian, a fisherman and kayak guide, will take you to find out all about aquaculture in the exceptional setting of the Chausey islands.
Starting in Granville, hop on board the fishing boat “La Grande Ancre”, and set sail for the eastern part of Chausey, with its wild islets: the perfect spot for a picnic! As the tide goes out, you’ll discover the mussel beds in a two-person kayak (suitable for beginners). At low tide you’ll head off on foot to explore the oyster and clam beds, before kayaking back to the boat for the ride back to Granville.
