Archipel de Chausey

The maritime quarter of Granville, the Chausey archipelago comprises a "big island" and some fifty islets. The archipelago's insularity makes for an undeniably rich biological diversity, from marine to terrestrial habitats. As a result, a visit to the archipelago is often rewarded with unusual encounters. Bottlenose dolphins and gannets animate the waves offshore, while blood geraniums and French carnations add color to the islands.
