Normandy Victory Museum

On the outskirts of Carentan, between Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, the Normandy Victory Museum invites you on a moving journey through history and the daily lives of soldiers and civilians during the Battle of the Hedges.

Take a tour of the 2,000m² exhibition space, wander through some 30 hyper-realistic, sound-enhanced scenes, and discover over 15,000 authentic objects that have lived through history.
Your journey takes you from the Occupation to the Liberation, with a special focus on the Battle of the Hedges in the Manche region.

The tour tells the story through a variety of media, making it accessible to all: scenes and their descriptions, vehicles, showcases, archive films, tour application, objects to handle, opportunities to ride in a Jeep...

Permanent theme exhibition: "The role of women in war" and temporary exhibitions.

Additional immersive activities: The secret of the 3 bunkers (escape game).

The Normandy Victory Museum is also :
- 2 major annual events: D-Day ceremonies in June and the COBRA 44 Commemorative Festival in July,
- a vintage militaria store with D-Day-related tourist items, as well as a large bookshop and militaria clothing for re-enactors,
- a partner restaurant on the museum grounds: the A10 Canteen,
- dodge tours departing from the museum with WW2 Veterans' Memories.
