Port Carentan

The port has been open to pleasure craft since 1983. It is linked to the Baie des Veys by a dyked canal that leads to a pass marked out by 6 pairs of buoys, 6 of which are illuminated. The lock operates for 5 hours per tide. It opens on request from 2 hours before to 3 hours after high tide. The basin is equipped with pontoons and catways with water and electricity. Free sanitary facilities are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in summer and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in winter. High-quality equipment is available for boating in a natural environment.
