Our vacation home is nestled between Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue and Barfleur, both voted France?s most beautiful villages, and France?s favorite villages. Tatihou Island and its two Vauban towers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are nearby. Our vacation rental is equipped with all the necessary comforts, ideal for a getaway in the Cotentin region.

- 3 kilometers from Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue and its lively Saturday market, voted favorite village of the French in 2019.

- Tatihou Island, with its oyster beds and two UNESCO World Heritage-listed Vauban towers, is nearby. In summer, the Traversées de Tatihou music festival, a unique event punctuated by the tides, will delight you with its originality, singularity and the quality of its artists.

- 10 kilometers from Barfleur and its picturesque fishing port, voted most beautiful village in France in 2014.

- The Gatteville lighthouse, 11 kilometers away, is the 2nd largest lighthouse in France, standing 75 metres high and offering breathtaking views. After climbing a 365-step staircase lit by 52 windows, visitors can admire the magnificent panorama of the Val-de-Saire and the English Channel.

- Réville, its beaches and festive atmosphere at the Goéland 1951 restaurant, with a view of Tatihou Island 6 kilometers away.

- Le Vast, with its La Saire river, waterfalls, woods, typical houses and famous inn, as well as its speciality: the brioche du Vast, less than 5 minutes away by car.

- 18 kilometers from Fermanville, which surrounds Cap Lévi, its port, lighthouse, semaphore, railway viaduct and Napoleonic fort.

- Cherbourg, its ports, its market, its lively city center and its famous Gare Maritime Transatlantique du Cotentin, voted France's favorite monument in 2022, its museum and its former nuclear submarine to visit, as well as the world's second largest artificial harbor to admire, all less than 30 kilometers away.

- Quinéville, Ravenoville, Sainte-Marie-Du-Mont and Sainte-Mère-Église (Les plages du Débarquement) from 11 kilometers.

- To visit La Hague, on the other coast, it takes around 50 minutes by car along the Route des Caps, a succession of remarkable landscapes and sites that unfold kilometer after kilometer.

- The Barneville-Carteret area also takes just under 50 minutes.
