You can do everything on foot from the cottage, from the livelyto the beach, not to mention Fort de la Hougue or the small neighborhood shops, such as the famous Gosselin grocery store on the corner! Weekly market on Saturdays (limited access). Annick, the owner, is the perfect guide to help you navigate this little maze and the surrounding sites (Barfleur, Cité de la Mer, Île Tatihou...).
