Eculleville is a little jewel of authenticity and a paradise for holidaymakers in search of peace and quiet. Just one small road leads to this village of around 30 inhabitants, protected by the small, overhanging church of St Martin. At the top of the hamlet, Yves' former family farm is now a cosy gîte ready to welcome you. Together with his wife Annie, they have restored the house to its former glory: the old fireplace with its astonishing double-scrolled corbels, the cement tiles and the old kitchen garden take you back to a time when time passed slowly. At the top of the grounds, you'll admire the view of the typical roofs and the sea in the background. Discover the sunken lanes and the beauty of the shoreline by walking the many signposted paths on the peninsula.
