The 2026 temporary exhibition, entitled "In the Hell of the Pacific", retraces the little-known events that took place in this geographical area between 1895 and 1975. It focuses on the great battles of the Second World War, but also evokes earlier and later events, such as the Japanese invasion of China, and the Korean and Vietnam wars. It includes an impressive collection of objects never before presented to the public, as well as portraits and testimonials from veterans. The exhibition is complemented by maps, thematic and chronological panels. The exhibition has been produced with the help of several specialist collectors, as well as Florent Plana (World War II Veteran's Memories) and the D-Day Experience museum in Saint-Côme-du-Mont.
The exhibition is on view daily from March 28 to November 15, 2026, and is accessible with a museum admission ticket: 9? adults and 6? children 6-14 years.
