Longuerac is a unique place, the secret of which can only be found in La Manche. In the heart of the Cotentin region, this authentic hamlet is built on the banks of the Douve river and enjoys a splendid, restful panorama. Submerged in winter, these green meadows are a delight for flocks in summer and home to many migratory birds. Fallen under the spell of this natural site, Cédric undertook the complete renovation of a farmhouse. Anxious to preserve the soul of the place, he has enhanced this small gîte by working with wood, natural rendering and preserving the irregular stone floor as it was in the past. In winter, with its pellet stove and a lake-like setting created by rising water levels, you're guaranteed a change of scenery. In fine weather, you can take advantage of the Auberge de l'Ouve restaurant, picnic area and kayak provided by the owner!
