Join us on January 16 at 8:30pm at Saint-Lô's "La Source" media library for "La femme à qui rien n'arrive" with "Équanime compagnie".
"It's by imagining that nothing (or nothing anymore) can happen to us, that anything can happen to us" Murphy's Law, also known as "The Law of Maximum Annoyance". She has only one objective: to finish her list of incompressible daily tasks at the robotic pace dictated by the Machine. Trapped in a virtual advertisement, she signs a contract with a ?production of things that happen? salesman. This woman to whom nothing happens is confronted with what she fears most: that something will happen to her. Her world becomes increasingly absurd and delirious.
"It lasts an hour and is both hilarious and heartbreaking. The writing is extravagant, extraordinary and a little nugget - Armelle Héliot, LE MASQUE ET LA PLUME
"Alone onstage, upright, almost motionless, she confuses, drunkens with words and ends up bewitching with a seemingly banal story of today, from which she pulls the demonic strings with black humor and an insolent sense of the absurd. (?). Léonore Chaix?s original, unsettling writing disturbs our everyday certainties as much as it makes us laugh. With finesse - Fabienne Pascaud, TÉLÉRAMA
