This is the (true) story of Larie, a young swimmer who, like his idol Michael Phelps, dreams of becoming a champion. He learns to somersault, discovers the sport of gliding, trains with all its violence, competes with all its rituals, races, defeats and second-guessing?

Maxime Taffanel, former top-level swimmer turned actor, has been through it all: intensive training, pain, fear of the clock, fear of failure, loss of meaning.
His text as an actor is intimately nourished by his experience as a sportsman. What if, deep down, the trainer was a bit of a stage director, and if performance, both in the pool and on stage, really took on the meaning of personal accomplishment?
