20th edition. Every year, at the launch of the scallop fishing season, gourmets and food lovers gather at the Halle à Marée in Granville to buy, taste and discover the many flavors of the Bay of Granville-Chausey.

The whelk, of course, but also the prairie, the scallop, the lapwing, the sea almond and the venus represent 80% of the landings in Granville. When you add the thousands of tons of oysters and mussels, we can certify that Granville is the capital of shellfish!
the 1st Marine Festival of Normandy, Toute la mer sur un plateau (All the Sea on a Plateau) attracts 50,000 seafood lovers every year. For the past 19 years, the sea has set the pace for this major annual event, which is dedicated to education, from the sea to the plate.
New activities such as learning how to open shellfish and the presentation by the SMEL of research on the recycling of plastics or the creation of new materials used for fishing.
And always on the program:
- 30 tons of seafood, directly from the fisherman or shellfish farmer,
- workshops and cooking demonstrations with local chefs,
- the discovery of the trades of breeding and fishing,
- exhibitors offering gourmet products, wines, decoration, clothes, equipment, crafts?
- marine animations for young and old,
- nautical baptisms aboard the Bisquine La Granvillaise and all day long, the tasting of shellfish plates!
