Who hasn't dreamed of knowing what tomorrow will bring?
As witnesses to the world around them, artists have seized upon this preoccupation with the future. Divine prophecies, oracles, premonitory dreams, astrology, clairvoyance and fortune-telling have inspired numerous works of art.
For the first time, this exhibition explores this theme through 70 works from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, from Albrecht Dürer to Marc Chagall, via Gustave Doré and Auguste Rodin.
From July 12 to October 16, 2024.
Tuesday to Friday 10am-12.30pm / 2pm-6pm.
