Concert > Les Wampas

Join us on October 6 at Saint-Lô's "Le Normandy" venue, for a concert by "Les Wampas" (+ opening act).

As Les Wampas' latest opus, "Tempête, tempête", attempts to beat the sales records once set by Louise Attaque and Manu Chao (so that they can go on vacation at least until Easter and at least until the Congo), let's remember for all practical purposes that "Didier Wampas is the king". But of what? Of a certain outspokenness ("Chirac en prison", a tad more subversive than an Optic 2000 advert), of punk crests still erect after almost 40 years in the service of a rock'n'roll without faults of taste, or even the king of a band with often memorable album titles ("Les Wampas sont la preuve que Dieu existe"), for whom this same rock'n'roll, thanks to systematically incendiary concerts, is not just a posture. In short, "Les Wampas love you". And vice versa.
