Arthur H is an acrobat: he knows how to combine the most demanding poetry with the energy of rock and the jubilation of pop. It takes a lot of elegance, a lot of application, a lot of intuition.

On his new album, entitled "LA VIE", Arthur H navigates through poetic ballads, leaving room for our imagination: La vie, La route, Le secret, L'étoile, L'océan? La vie, the title of the album and the title track, takes us through the different stages of life, plunging us into the artist?s universe. Since his early days in the '90s, whether as a duo or alongside the Bachibouzouk Band, Arthur H has revealed his talents as an eccentric poet and outstanding composer of French chanson.

Son of Jacques Higelin, but far from being a daddy's boy, Arthur H has accompanied his musical ascent with projects that have always been well-received by audiences and the press, such as the "Magic Mirrors" big top show he performed in 1993, which went on to become a very popular live album in French homes.

His deep voice and unique blend of rock, swing, jazz and cabaret, as well as his playful, phantasmagorical lyrics, led Arthur H on a series of musical adventures: "Fête trouble", a live album recorded during his '97 tour, "Négresse blanche" (released in 2004) and "Adieu Tristesse" (2005) all confirmed Monsieur H's singular musical talent.

His collaborations with -M-, Brigitte Fontaine and Feist have made Arthur H a fixture on the French song scene.
