Cirque : "Bitbybit"

These two brothers are reviving an age-old circus technique: the "jaws of steel".

You might shudder at these words, which sound like memories of a certain Zampano and his physical exploits! Yes, the technique has fairground origins. But the Bruyninckx brothers go far beyond that. While they get our adrenalin pumping and our hair standing on end with feats never before seen in the contemporary circus, held in place by a steel wire between their jaws, they are also capable of the utmost delicacy and infinite poetry in their spectacular flights and pas de deux. Under their small dome-shaped tent, they compete with surprises and tricks in a duel that reaches a crescendo to the sound of a spellbinding musical score by Dijf Sanders. Whether on the ground or in the air, the two inseparable brothers play with balance, falls and the threat of loss, each getting back "between the teeth" of the other in a joust that is both funny and impressive.
