How to observe without being seen?
The animator makes the children discover the various means of military observation during the Second World War such as the binoculars, the periscope, the rangefinder, the long sight...
Inside an observation post, the children locate the positions of churches, hills and buildings in the area. They calculate distances with the help of a period map.
A little bonus: the children make a periscope that they take home with them.
