A cycle route from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel

The Véloscénie is a cycle route that links two emblematic French monuments: Notre-Dame-de-Paris and Mont Saint-Michel. Covering 450 kilometres, the route travels through four regions and three nature parks. You’ll see lots of treasures of French heritage along the way: châteaux such as Versailles, the cathedral in Chartres, picturesque villages, the thermal baths in Bagnoles de l’Orne, and much more.

The Véloscénie follows a succession of bike tracks, greenways, forest trails and signposted roads. From the Chevreuse valley to the Norman countryside, via the Perche region, you’ll pedal through some stunning landscapes and enjoy a sense of complete freedom as you reconnect with nature. You can follow this cycle route from start to finish or opt for individual sections, as you prefer.

The Vélo WestNormandy shares a section with the VéloMaritime cycle route, and can be a shorter alternative: perfect for a midweek break!
